In our interview, we discuss:

  • Her experiences living and working in China in the mid 1980s

  • How she first got interested in “solutions journalism” and when she decided to start YES! Magazine

  • Her thoughts on Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, and the future of the democratic party

  • The top solutions she found on her 12,000 mile journey through America

  • And finally, we discuss her new school project that has a goal of increasing collaboration across communities and spreading some of the key learnings that she found while writing the book “The Revolution Where You Live.”
