Real change is about more than just talk and requires a committed practice from organizations and individuals. Hella Social Impact is a consultancy that is dedicated to facilitating the process of helping brands and organizations to show up authentically and impactfully for racial justice. On the show today we are so lucky to be joined by Hella's CEO and Founder, Lynn Johnson, as we have an insightful and inspiring conversation about her path and experiences working towards a better future.
Lynn is a theatre artist, entrepreneur, producer, marketer, speaker, organizational development consultant, and transformational facilitator, dedicated to gender and racial justice. She currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her wife and daughter. Her work lies at the intersection of arts, media, culture, and social change.
In our conversation we get to hear from Lynn about the lasting influence of her identity as a 'theatre person', Hella's organizational culture codes, the differences between calling out and calling in, and translating values into reality through the right kind of action. Lynn also underlines the need for people and groups to share their stories in this arena, and how this can be done impactfully and appropriately. Be sure to join us for another great episode.
